School Outings
The social programme at IH takes place on the last Friday of each course. This is a chance for all the students and staff to socialise together, see some interesting places, and have fun.
Some favourites include:
- Bowling
- The Johannesburg Zoo,
- Ice-skating
- The Cradle of Humankind
- Soweto
- The Apartheid Museum
In addition to the end-of-course outings, students can sign up for Saturday outings, which are scheduled for every second month. On these outings, family and friends of students are welcome. Some firm favourites are local theme parks Sun City and Gold Reef City.
Cultural Luncheons
Three times a year the school also hosts a cultural luncheon. Students are encouraged to bring a traditional dish from their country, dress in traditional clothing, and bring music from home. This is a great opportunity for students to share their culture and traditions with each other. These days are always popular and a lot of fun. |
