Repeating the Test
You can repeat the IELTS test as often as you need to. However we recommend that you don’t take the test again without first taking a preparation course to ensure you get the score you need.
Re-mark Policy and Charges
All examiners and monitors are closely monitored and all test scores are double entered by 2 IELTS staff members to ensure accuracy. However, if you feel your score is not correct, you can apply for a provisional or complete remark of the test.
Requests for a remark must be made within 6 weeks from the test date. You must apply in writing with your original TRF and pay a remark fee of $160.00 AUD.
Results will be available six to eight weeks after the receipt of the Re-mark request. The Re-mark Fees will be refunded if the score improves.
IELTS Cancellations, Transfers and Refund Policy
To cancel, transfer or refund your test fees, you must submit a written request to the IELTS Centre Administrator at least 5 weeks prior to the test date for which you have booked.
When requests for cancellations, transfers or refunds are received in a timely manner in accordance with the IELTS Refund and Transfer Policy, fees will be either refunded or transferred to the next available test date. This, however, will incur a R475.00 administrative fee.
When requests for cancellations, transfers or refunds are not received 5 weeks prior to the test date and do not comply with the four conditions referred to in the IELTS Refund and Transfer Policy, there will be no full or partial refund of fees or transfer of fees to the next available test date.
