Application Form |

Applications must be mailed or brought into the centre in person, or by a third party.
Each application must include:

Completed signed application form

2 colour passport-sized pictures, with your name clearly written on the back *see below

A clear photocopy of your passport or ID card showing name, number, picture and expiry date

Payment for test fee (see Payment)

Addresses of institutions where you would like additional test results mailed (if applicable)

Postage charges (if applicable)

Please note - you are not booked for an exam until completed application with copy of ID and full payment is recieved.
In Person
You can apply in person at the registration office on the 2nd floor at 54 De Korte Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
By Post
For postal applications, send the required documents to IH Language Lab IELTS Department, P.O. Box 32712, Braamfontein, 2017, Johannesburg.
By a third party
You may send someone on your behalf to register you for the test as long as they have all the relevant documentation completed and signed by you.
* Passport-size photos
Passport-size, identical photos must not be more than six months old and must show the head fully, looking straight at the camera. All photos must have a blue background and have more face and less body showing in the photo.
Photos that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.

Photos can be taken at the IELTS centre for an additional charge of R50.00 for 6 passport photos. |
